Trilloquy podcast: Here, Bullet

Check out the July 20th Trilloquy podcast where actor/director Will Chase and I talk with Garret McQueen about my song set Here, Bullet and classical music’s response to gun violence and other important social issues. Here, Bullet sets searing firsthand poetic descriptions of the Iraq War by acclaimed poet and US veteran Brian Turner. The composition won First Prize in the 2020 NATS Art Song Composition Competition and was created as part of a unique commissioning consortium. A short film based on the work will be released 2023.
